A sedução era a arma mais certeira que tinha contra os homens. “Eles que sofressem”. Mereciam sofrer. O Mateus continuava apaixonadíssimo por ela. Ultimamente ele estava sentindo Carolina muito estranha. Calada. Com um brilho novo no olhar. Ficou desconfiado! Coitado do Mateus! Transparecia em sua imagem o medo de perder o seu amor. Mas ele se achava um homem forte. Macho! Tinha que tirar isso a limpo. Numa tarde, fingindo estar no trabalho, resolveu checar seus temores. Esperou Carolina ir à academia. Sorrateiramente a seguiu. Dirigindo o seu carro com pernas trêmulas e suando frio! Tinha maus pressentimentos. Conseguiu não ser visto por ela. DEUS! Não podia acreditar em que seus olhos estavam vendo!!! E agora??? O TERREMOTO ACONTECEU!!!
