Cristiano, na infância, era considerado um menino triste. Não conseguia ter amiguinhos, nem mesmo na escola. Vivia isolado e criando brincadeiras solitárias nas horas em que não estava estudando. Esse menino triste, aos dez anos de idade, resolveu ter como companhia os “livros da biblioteca da escola”. Desta forma poderia conseguir amiguinhos imaginários e preencheria sua enorme carência. Escolhia os temas que estivessem em pauta em suas fantasias e os mencionados pelos seus professores. Assim foi se desenvolvendo intelectualmente. Paralelamente, foi estudando muito. Entregou-se, compulsivo, à leitura dos livros da biblioteca da escola. Tornou-se o melhor aluno da classe. Todos os colegas começaram a perceber que ele existia. “Como é difícil se livrar de um apelido”! Principalmente um pejorativo. De “orelhudo esquisito”, passou para “orelhudo esperto”. Um novo rótulo. Tinha orelhas de abano!!! Na verdade ele não se incomodava com isso. Até gostou do novo apelido. Afinal era uma nova identidade. Reconhecia alguma qualidade boa nele. Ficou mais extrovertido. Mudou seu jeito, ao extremo. Começou a falar alto. Rir em exagero! Como foi dando certo, achou que assim ficaria mais atraente e divertido. Chamaria mais a atenção das pessoas. E, de certa forma, estava certo. Passou a ter mais companheiros. Virou um palhaço. Fazia piada de tudo. As gargalhadas eram frequentes, até quando sem motivo. Na realidade conseguia companhia, mas tinha muita dificuldade de desenvolver amizades verdadeiras. Ter um amigo do peito! Só amizades frágeis! Terminou o colégio. Fez faculdade de publicidade, não perdendo o seu jeito “aparentemente” feliz de viver a vida. Cristiano tornou-se um publicitário de prestígio e se resolveu muito bem financeiramente. Muito sucesso entre as mulheres e homens. Nunca se entregou a um Amor de verdade! Socialmente tinha a vida muito preenchida. Emocionalmente se sentia um lixo. Havia um buraco em seu coração que ele tentava preencher, mas não conseguia. Passados sete anos de grande ascensão profissional, com trinta anos de idade, entrou numa terrível depressão. Teve que se afastar do cargo, sob licença médica. Não entendia o porquê desse sofrimento. O sorriso, que era tão frequente, foi sepultado. Perdeu o interesse profissional. Momento caótico! O menino triste renasceu. Só que desta vez foi muito pior. Cristiano não conseguiu criar nenhum recurso para se refugiar. Logo ele, tão criativo! Trancou-se em casa. Trancou-se em si mesmo. Perdeu o interesse pela vida. Só queria ficar na cama, de pijamas e mal cuidado. Sem apetite! Em quatro semanas emagreceu quase oito quilos. Transformou-se numa caricatura de si mesmo. Irreconhecível! Não queria ver ninguém. Só aceitava a companhia de seu gato angorá, presente de Bruna, antiga namorada. Depois de quase um mês nessa condição deplorável, Bruna soube, através de amigos, o que estava acontecendo com Cristiano. Ela ainda era apaixonada por ele. Vivia tentando reconquista-lo. Jogava charme e sensualidade o quanto podia. Sem êxito! Para Cristiano a paixão tinha se acabado há tempos. O gato angorá ficou como o único vinculo entre eles. De vez em quando, Bruna ligava para saber do “gato”. Ultimamente Cristiano nem atendia mais o telefone. Preocupada, Bruna resolveu ir visita-lo pessoalmente. Queria ver com os próprios olhos o que estava acontecendo com ele! Chegando lá, não se conformou com o que viu. O seu querido daquele jeito? Isso não! Mulher de atitude e obstinada, resolveu ajuda-lo. Mesmo com forte resistência dele. Fez papel de mãe, mesmo!!! Colocou-o no chuveiro bem quentinho. Aqueceu uma toalha macia e felpuda, para que ele se sentisse acolhido após o banho. Afinal aquela tarde de outono estava gelada! Depois foi para o fogão e preparou a sopa de legumes mais saborosa que conseguiu. Fez torradinhas no alho e suco de laranja. Arrumou uma mesa linda. Colocou até flores coloridas para alegrar o ambiente. Cristiano, assim que terminou o banho, sentiu o aroma que vinha da cozinha. Estava irresistível! Num segundo, recordou das sopas deliciosas que sua mãe preparava. Sensações sinestésicas! Acho que era uma das únicas coisas boas daquela época em que vivia fechado nele mesmo. Essa lembrança de prazer e a energia nova que estava sentindo com a presença de Bruna , despertou nele a vida escondida no peito. Lentamente foi até a adega. Pegou a garrafa de vinho que há muito tempo havia guardado para uma ocasião especial. Desta vez o sorriso veio do coração. BRINDARAM À VIDA!!!
